While I'm on the subject of ridiculously big JPEGs on webpages - once upon a time I owned the domain iannelson.co.uk, but not once did I decide that it would be a good idea to put a 2.6 megapixel photo on the home page, resized on the client with the aspect ratio totally screwed!  Still, apparently he's an "all round good bloke" and he certainly has a good name :-)

I'm pleasantly surprised to see that one of the first URLs I frequented over eight years ago, namely some freebie ISP space over at www.horatio.force9.co.uk is still redirecting to this site all this time later - very kind of those folks at Force9.

Nobody's bought DoINeedMyCoat.co.uk since I let the registration lapse... I guess my brilliant idea for a dumbed-down weather advisory site wasn't quite so brilliant after all...
