Changes

That's it. My two year stint at Marshalls PLC ended on Friday; thanks to everyone there for making it a genuinely fun and enjoyable place to work. I've learned much and am proud of the stuff we've achieved during that time.

Thanks also to everyone who came out on Thursday night for the joint leaving do for Rosie and myself - the karaoke in particular was excellent fun. I was considering linking to the .wav of myself murdering "My Way", but I don't think anybody deserves to be put through that ordeal for a second time :-)

Oh, incidentally, since Marshalls fund the business line, ADSL and static IP from which this site is hosted, don't be surprised if it suddenly disappears in the forthcoming weeks. I need to organise some decent residential ADSL now (I'm not bothered about cutesy value-add features, just a solid reliable connection - perhaps Pipex or Force9?), and will probably take this opportunity to move my websites to an external host (WebHost4Life maybe?). If anyone has any suggestions on these topics, do let me know...

Now, no rest for the wicked - I start my new position at Avanade first thing tomorrow morning, so I'm catching a train down to London in a little over eight hours...
